Sorry, my friends, but we've had lots of people trashing our guestbook, so I'm making this page one that has to be edited manually. If you want information to be included, just send it to me (judi) @ baxtercountyonline dot com and I'll add it manually. Be sure you include your name, address, phone and e-mail. Thanks, Judi Name: Email: Date: Time: Comments Wow! I stumbled onto this site a few days ago, and was totally blown
away! All these excellent class photos, all the old names...Tremendous
echos from the past! I've often wondered what became of Moved back to Mountain Home (from Wichita, a short interim stop) in
the fall of 99 and have been in the area since. Name: Address:

CommentsGreeting from your "unofficial honorary classmate"! I had not really planned to barge in on your reunion plans... always feeling the outcast because I spent '59-'64 being schooled in Florida at military school (believe me, you didn't miss much), but recently I have been asked by several friends if I planned to attend, and I really would like to visit with many of my old pals, so I guess Jane and I will be coming over to Dick's on Friday night at the very least. Congratulations, MHHS CLass of 1964!

CommentsIt has been so much fun reading this site! I couldn't believe somebody found that picture from the rowing club. I had no idea that thing was out in cyberspace!! I'm looking forward to the Saturday night event. Sorry Joyce & I won't be able to make the Friday night gathering. Would you believe that the class we graduated with here in Houston is having their reunion on the same weekend?! We're going to attend the one here in Houston on Friday night and go to our favorite one on Saturday. See you there! PS: The August issue of Southern Living has a couple of pages about Norfolk/Mtn. Home. Monkey Market sounds interesting.??

CommentsAs of right now, we're planning on being there!! Where do we land when we hit town??
CommentsReading about Tom Dearmore's recent death took me back to those years in Mtn. Home when Reba Dearmore was just about the most interesting person we knew! And who could forget Terry Jo Byrd! I now live in Oklahoma City, OK, and am Executive Director of a statewide advocacy organization for higher education. I taught 8th grade English in Bartlesville for 13 years before going into higher education administration after getting my doctorate in 1983. I plan to attend the reunion this October (and appreciate being included since we moved to Bentonville after my 10th grade). My parents still live in Bentonville. Mother is 80 going on 60. She still teaches part-time and the newest school in Bentonville is being named after her. Daddy is 83. My sister Lorri (known to y'all as Lorraine) teaches in Fayetteville. Remember Debbie Baker? She too lives in Fayetteville and I see her at Lorri's yearly birthday parties. My brother Jerry (who was born when we were in the 4th grade) is the senior legal leader for Acxiom in Little Rock. I plan to retire in Mtn. Home.
CommentsHi, guys! Sonny and I just celebrated our 41st anniversary. We have two kids: Julie, 33, married, former journalist and now a travel agent in Kansas City, one daughter (19 months old, Bridget Cherie); Steven, 30, married, computer geek, substitute teacher in Japan, no kids. We retired and came home on January 1,1996. We live on the back of the Sharp farm in Mountain Home and do volunteer work for Cotter (What a historic, beautiful old town!) and Sonny's on the Baxter County Library Board. I build Web pages (baxtercountyonline.com, cotterarkansas.com, troutcapitalnews.com, etc.). Can't wait to see you all at the reunion! | |||||||||
