He was born April 15, 1945, in Mountain Home to Leonard L. and Hazel A. Hensley Huett. Mr. Buchanan married Martha Russell Sept. 20, 1962, in Harrison. He was a Mountain Home native, retired truck driver and avid turkey and deer hunter. He played ball while attending Mountain Home High School and enjoyed watching football, especially Bomber football.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Buchanan of the home; a daughter, Tammy Jones, a brother, Jim Buchanan and a grandson, Bobby Jones, all of Mountain Home; a niece, Lisa Buchanan; and a nephew, Cody Buchanan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard L. Buchanan and Hazel Buchanan Huett.

Visitation will be noon-9 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Baxter Memorial Gardens with Brother Ken Burton officiating.
